Robert was born and raised in Holmes County. He is a graduate of McClain High School in Lexington, Mississippi.
Robert is the proud oldest son of Robert G. Clark, Jr., former Speaker Pro Tempore of the Mississippi House of Representatives and the brother of State Representative Bryant W. Clark (Dist. 47). Their influence has been instrumental in Robert's personal, as well as his professional development as an attorney and judge. His decision to become judge was driven by his family up bringing, where he learned first hand about the necessary temperament, patience, respect and impartiality that is required in a well-rounded Judge.
